Save Money on your Hair!

Times are tough right now...we are in a global recession! But that doesn't mean we are just going to let ourselves go...we still have to look good right? Our hair can especially be quite expensive so some money saving tricks are always needed. I stumbled across an article on MSN today about saving money on your hair.

Here is a peek at one of the tips...

"Look to beauty schools. Pivot Point Chicago, Empire Beauty School in New York and Aveda Beauty Schools offer cut and color services at way-below-salon-prices. These services will be performed by students and supervised by an instructor, to make sure you won't walk out bald or with green hair."

I stand beside this one 100% while my sister was in beauty school I would stop in there to get my hair done all of the time. Not only was it really cheap it wasn't any different then stepping into a regular salon. With most schools you have to be in the program for at least a few months before you are able to go "on the floor". And one of the instructors are always coming by to check on how they are doing and immediately correct them if anything isn't perfect. But if you are going to do this just make sure you go to a reputable school...some of the smaller schools may not be as careful.
